the graphics look amazing!

books and film rambling

So…I have finished my awesome book, (the hand that first held mine) I had guessed the ending, but the way it came about brought a tear to my eyes! Love a good book that can pull emotion from you, really made me loose my self for a short time every night in the bath :-). Having got the biggest collection of books waiting for me ever, I had a real problem choosing…un-till my aunt lent me her ‘my booky wook’ by Russel brand, so I inevitably have to read this first so that I don’ t have hold of it forever…and so far, its surprisingly good!

I watched two Jason Statham films this weekend and feel the need to have my usual comment…well as much as I like Jason Statham..these two were not my favourites, In my opinion the mechanic took for ever to get the the point, which we had all figured out ten mins into the film. and revolver…well I’m STILL debating whether it was an extremely intelligent film that I need to watch again to truly get, or an epic waste of two hours of my life? I may hold off on the replay.

Day time TV

Ok so being a student, you would think that I was used to daytime TV but nada! It sucks, after being in full time work placement ( and loving it) I am now sat in the house typing away like a maniac and getting my work done, and obviously as a standard student I like a decent distraction, and the tv programmes are trasgy as anything!! argh, so I turn to one of my major loves in life..FILMS! And mashing together two addictions, film and facebook with the social network, one of my most loved films, its greatly shit, and the music rocks!! Loving it!!

On the other hand I did catch the PM on this morning today and as much as I never thought I would say this, especially being from a working class family, but this guy can talk SOME sense, and the discrimination in the country coming across was disgusting, let alone the uneducated-ness of their ‘insignts’.

Oh well…not to judge!!

On another note, yet another anti-ginger post in the newspapers today, well the article wasn’t (for a change) but a little boy sticking up for himself. It makes me sick! I’m ginger  and proud, but why should people be bale to get away with using it in a discriminatory way, you wouldn’t get away with being racist, or shouting fatty across a room, so why shouting ‘GINNER’ any diff? or saying I HAVE NO SOUL…DROP DEAD!! Where is the justice for us? It P*ssess me off, WE do not deserve it!! and I’m sick that a little boy has to bring it to the attention of the world, and some have the cheek to think and believe it is ok!!!

Books…I think this counts :-)

HI!

Hi, I’m new to this and not sure what its all about so if you’re reading this please be patient, I like to talk ALOT  and have many opinions that I dont tend to voice as it is not appropriate in my professional life, but personally drive me mad etc….I Love to read, and watch films, spend time with my family and friends and my beautiful future hubby, I am 3 weeks from completeing my degree and almost begging for a job (Although I have done a professional degree, cuts have left slim pickings!!).
